Early 1900s in Colour – All around the world : International photos of Albert Kahn

This is amazing. It’s just remarkable to see a time that we associate with sepia, these color photos of life in the beginning of the 20th century.

This blog post (http://citynoise.org/article/10598) has a great sample of these photos and they are much better quality than those on the museum website. However, the museum website has a much larger selection. The following URL is the map that lets you go to pictures by country (http://www.albert-kahn.fr/archives-de-la-planete/mappemonde/#c750).

You really should check these out, but I would suggest avoiding the comments in the blog. Big time suck and little of substance.
